LIB-FRM: “New Generation of Fire-Retardant Materials for Lithium-Ion Batteries”

Commercial lithium-ion battery (LIB) liquid electrolytes suffer from thermal instability, which limits the large-scale application of LIBs. Based on material design, this project aims to design novel flame retardants and develop a new generation of polymer composites materials to improve the flame retardant ability of electrolytes. Excellent comprehensive performance is our pursuit.
