HIFIRE: “High Performance environmentally friendly Fire Retardant Epoxy Nanocomposites”

This project aims at developing high performance fire retardant, halogen-free epoxy nanocomposites by means of molecular design and advanced chemical synthesis. The new nanomaterials will be optimised in terms of nanofiller nature (shape, size and type), loading and dispersion within the epoxy matrix.
