BioFRCP: “Bioinspired hierarchical interphase engineering strategy toward advanced composites with superior fire-proof and mechanical properties”

The project deals with the design and development of bio-based interfacial engineering strategies which manipulate the microsize interphase of fiber reinforced polymer composites via nanotechnologies. The aim of this work is to develop advanced structural composites which possess not only with intriguing fire-proof performance but also other properties such as sensing or energy generation, etc. under load and extreme temperature conditions.
