The research group focuses on the application-oriented fundamental problems and novel technologies in fire safety engineering, fire retardant materials and polymer-based composites. Main research activities include:
HPPN Research Group has well-equipped laboratories with state-of-the-art facilities for R&D in fire retardant materials and polymer composite/nanocomposites, has a track record of attracting funding from the European Union, international collaboration, industries, and national government, has built up wide cooperation with renowned scientific institutions in the worldwide.
