Biography
Franck Lopes Ferreira is originally from Pau, France. He graduated in Physics and Chemistry from the University of Pau. Then he pursued a Master's degree in Materials Science and sustainable development Engineering at the University of Poitiers. During his master's studies he had the opportunity to do two internships. The first one at Charles University, Prague, on HfN NPs synthesis by magnetron sputtering; and the other at INSA-Toulouse on Convective Self-Assembly of quantum dots. Those experiences made him develop a strong appeal for experimental research in nanomaterials. That led him to begin his journey at IMDEA Materials in October 2023 to start his Ph.D. in the Multifunctional Nanocomposites group (MNG).Academic Career

- 2021 – 2023: Master’s degree in materials sciences and sustainable development engineering, University of Poitiers, France.
- 2017 – 2021: Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Chemistry, University of Pau and Adour’s country, France.
