HPPN had the pleasure to invite Prof. Yiu-Wing Mai for a visit
June 30, 2025On 11th June 2025, the HPPN group had the pleasure of hosting Professor Yiu-Wing Mai in our group and enjoyed a coffee break with the group members. He is a Distinguished Chair Professor at Hong Kong Polytechnic University and an internationally recognized pioneer in fracture mechanics and materials science.
During the coffee session, Prof. Mai listened to brief self-introductions of each group member and gave a lot of meaningful advice for each person’s research.
