Eva M. Andrés

Eva María Andrés López obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, with major in Aerospace Vehicles, in 2014 and later, in 2016, her Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Aeronáutica y del Espacio (ETSIAE), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). She worked as predoctoral researcher both in the IMDEA Materials Institute and in the Materials Science Department in the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos (UPM). Currently, she is completing her PhD in multiscale simulation of thermomechanical problems under severe conditions from the UPM. She is Teaching Assistant in the Materials and Aerospace Production Department in ETSIAE since 2018.

Juan Luis de Pablos

Bachelor’s Degree and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Technical University of Madrid (UPM). Previous professional experience in the automotive and renewable energy sectors. Currently working as a Research Assistant in the pursuit of a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, being mainly involved in the development of models for new materials subjected to extreme conditions to be used within the aerospace field, in the frame of “Horizon 2020” European Union Programme.

Mohammad Elahi

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yasouj University (Iran), and M.Sc. degree in Applied Mechanics at Shiraz University of Technology (Iran) and have experience in solid mechanics and computational mechanics, programming (Matlab and C++) and optimizing methods (DOE). I have started my PhD at IMDEA materials institute under the supervision of Dr Ignacio Romero and Dr Damien Tourret from March 2019. My PhD project is focused on finite element modelling of Selective Laser Melting (SLM) method of additive manufacturing for nickel-based alloys.
