Biography

Sergio is from Villamantilla, Madrid. He obtained a degree in Materials Engineering and Energy Engineering (2020) from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC). In 2022, he earned a Master's degree in Materials Manufacturing Technologies at URJC, where the focus of his work was on the development of a fracture model and characterization of new composite materials for structural supercapacitors. In June 2022, he joined the Multifunctional Nanocomposites Group at IMDEA Materials Institute with the Research Initiation Fellowship in the field area of recycling and mechanical characterization of CNT fibres.
