Biography

Javier is originally from León but he moved with his family to the south of Spain where he started his primary education in Estepona, Málaga. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering specialized in Industrial Organization and Electronics and a Master in Industrial Engineering both from University of Málaga (UMA). During the master he specialized in Mechatronics, working as a Research Assistant in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). In February 2020 he joined the "Micro and Namomechanics Group" and the "Multifunctional Nanocomposites Group" at IMDEA Materials Institute as a Electronics Technician giving support to other researchers in tasks related to Mechanics, Electronics, Programming, Instrumentation and Equipment automation.
