On December 2, 2024, the Minister of Education of the People’s Republic of China, Dr. Huai Jinpeng, visited IMDEA Materials Institute in Madrid during his visit to Spain. The purpose of the visit is to deepen the cooperation between China and Spain in the fields of higher education, research and innovation, and technology transfer, and to further promote in-depth exchanges between the two countries in the field of cutting-edge science and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister Huai also paid a special visit to the fire lab of HPPN group led by Prof. De-Yi Wang. Accompanied by the team, he visited the fire testing Laboratory and learned in detail about the laboratory’s research progress in the field of high performance flame retardant materials. It is worth mentioning that several sets of test equipment independently developed by the research center attracted Minister Huai’s high attention and appreciation. He said that these devices not only reflect the scientific research strength of Prof. De-Yi Wang\u2019s team, but also provide important support for international research in the field of flame retardant materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
