HPPN Research Group led by Dr. De-Yi Wang participates in COST action MP1105: Advances in the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials for flame retardant applications. Dr. De-Yi Wang was appointed as National Representative from Spain in 2013 for this COST action. Under the support of COST MP1105, a workshop that aims to bring together specialists from academia, research institutes and industry for discussing some of the recent advances and trends in the synthesis of different types of nanomaterials and their characterization for application in flame retardant textiles, plastics and composites with improved properties has been approved. This workshop is organized by National R&D Institute for Nonferrous and Rare Metals-Nanostructured Materials Laboratory in Romania from 26th to 27th of March 2015. The predoctoral researchers from HPPN Group, Mr. Zhi Li and Mr. Yetang Pan, have been awarded with a mobility research grant to attend this workshop.
